Released on = February 4, 2006, 7:23 am
Press Release Author = Caryn FitzGerald
Industry = Small Business
Press Release Summary = VendorCentralUSA is a networking organization for those who have set the goal of working either full or part-time for themselves or supplementing their incomes with a home-based business.
Press Release Body = Launched in September 2004, this national organization for those in business for themselves, now has 22 chapters across the United States. Membership rates are much lower than chambers and other networking organizations, allowing the small businessperson to affordably increase their clientele.
What makes VendorCentralUSA different from other organizations? VendorCentralUSA focuses on helping individuals to build their business by getting them out of their comfort zone and increasing their contact base. Each chapter hosts several functions per month where members and guests mix and mingle, sharing ideas and much more. Chapter expos, held several times per year, are planned, organized and promoted by the membership itself. Members bring their ideas to the table and then are able to see them come to fruition at the chapter event. Chapters host meetings for educational exercises and topics, to hear professional guest speakers and of course, to plan their events. By networking with others, members are seeing an increase in their business, meeting new hosts for their parties and catalog shows, gaining new team members and referrals for new clients. Most importantly, members are gaining new friends!
Membership in each chapter is limited to people from the same company, with special memberships available for those working together in a business venture as well as for those who choose to be the only person representing their company within the chapter. VendorCentralUSA is open to men and women, 18 years and older from a variety of direct sales, independent business and small business organizations.
The mission of VendorCentralUSA is to help the work-for-myself person in building their business without the expense of joining a local Chamber or other organizations, which charge monthly fees or dues along with a yearly membership. VendorCentralUSA does not charge anything in addition to the yearly membership rate, making networking affordable to the small businessperson. In an effort to bring affordable networking to everyone - VendorCentralUSA encourages those who are interested, but not located near a chapter, to start a chapter in their area. Training, support and guidance are provided by both regional and national staff for all chapter directors. Making the start-up of a chapter a fun and easy experience.
Benefits of chapter membership include discounts on products and services offered by other members & private companies, along with incentive gifts for members, and the opportunity to be a vendor at chapter hosted events and expos. The more active a member is within their chapter, the more VendorCentralUSA goodies they can earn.
